FutureA-
The Bears left with their quarterback, and a D+ to match. The trade table was where it all came apart. The Bears shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. Hard to defend, and the D+ reflects that.
Whatever Jayden Daniels becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. Keion White gives the group a proven body among the projects.
The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
Pick Analysis
Pick3
Rnd1
Malik Nabers
In pick 3 they get a true top target. A real need, handled.
Pick4
Rnd1
Jayden Daniels
In pick No. 4 they get their quarterback of the future at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick50
Rnd2
Kingsley Suamataia
Kingsley Suamataia at No. 50 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick97
Rnd3
Tykee Smith
A market-rate safety, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Tykee Smith. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
