There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Bears started one anyway for Taulia Tagovailoa, 52 picks ahead of schedule. More right than wrong, and a B+ to match.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They banked enough surplus on Carson to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Bears clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
