The Patriots left with their quarterback, and a B+ to match.

The Patriots spent the pick that matters most on Drake Maye, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. They will answer for taking OLB-EDGE early while interior defensive lineman, running back and other spots went begging. The McGlothern steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
