The Bears won the weekend at the trade table. Grade: A-.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Bears were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. The board rewarded a patient, disciplined weekend with a A-.

A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. They are betting Eguakun proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The Solomon pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots.

Brownlee Jr. falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Joe Alt and all.
