Draft Grade — Titans
Overall A-
ValueB+ NeedB+ TradesA+ FutureA
Larceny in Round 6, Pick 1 lands the Titans a A-, Stutsman and all.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Titans were there to profit. Danny Stutsman, the No. 87 name on the board, should have been long gone before the Round 6 slot. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A-.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. They will answer for taking safety early while edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots went begging.

The Clark pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

In the end it comes back to Ashton Jeanty, and a haul good enough to build on right away.

Pick Analysis
Pick3 Rnd1 Ashton Jeanty
In No. 3 they get a lead back with juice. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick33 Rnd2 Nick Emmanwori
Nick Emmanwori at the 33rd overall pick is money in the bank, a safety taken below his worth. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick104 Rnd4 Malachi Moore
The needs board was loud and they turned it down, spending pick No. 104 on Malachi Moore with edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots unsolved.
Pick119 Rnd4 Deontae Lawson
They barely believed it either: Deontae Lawson still on the board at the 119th pick. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick139 Rnd5 Mason Taylor
They will replay Mason Taylor at the Round 5 slot for years; that is how good the value is. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick167 Rnd5 Connor Colby
Connor Colby in Round 5, Pick 30 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick176 Rnd6 Danny Stutsman
You do not let a linebacker like Danny Stutsman reach slot 176 and blink. They did not. The roster fit checks out.
Pick240 Rnd7 De'Corian Clark
A real head-scratcher, De'Corian Clark in pick 240 is miles ahead of his ranking. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
