A costly weekend of dealing drags the Saints to a D-.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Saints did exactly that with Barryn Sorrell in pick No. 205. The process wobbled, and the D- is where it lands.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The Dike steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Spending an early pick on linebacker with quarterback and running back open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
