The Saints treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending pick 219 on Jaleel Skinner a full 129 spots early. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through cornerback.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and cornerback is still a hole.
