A franchise passer in Maye headlines a D weekend for the Bears.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Bears shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.

Drake Maye gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. The cost of the Tagovailoa reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Ford at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
