If confidence were a draft strategy, the Bears would have aced it. Brandon Coleman at the 114th pick is 58 spots clear of where he belonged.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

A strong weekend's work, and a rare one to find this little fault with.
