Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall B-
ValueB NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
A solid, sensible weekend for the Seahawks: B-.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Seahawks did exactly that with Trey Holly in pick 211. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want. That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.

Pick Analysis
Pick32 Rnd1 Colton Hood
They did well to land Colton Hood in Round 1, Pick 32, just ahead of his grade. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick64 Rnd2 Jake Slaughter
Steal is underselling it; Jake Slaughter at the 64th overall pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick96 Rnd3 Caden Curry
Caden Curry in the Round 3 slot is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick211 Rnd6 Trey Holly
Trey Holly at slot 211 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
