The Cardinals drew a line under the quarterback search with Daniels: D-. Nobody else had Jordan Travis anywhere near No. 143. The Cardinals did, by 30 spots, and that gap is the whole story. The process wobbled, and the D- is where it lands.
The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. Jayden Daniels gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Cooper.
In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
