A sensible, unshowy class lands the Bears a B-.

Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Bears never addressed running back, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Lane has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.
