Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall B-
ValueB- NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
The Ravens did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Ravens reached some 40 spots for DJ Campbell, and value like that does not grow back. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

The Williams steal is the beam this whole class leans on. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.

Pick Analysis
Pick31 Rnd1 A.J. Harris
In slot 31 they get a press-man option on the boundary at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick63 Rnd2 Antonio Williams
Antonio Williams at the 63rd pick is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick95 Rnd3 Evan Stewart
They reached into another round for Evan Stewart, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick131 Rnd4 Rod Moore
A tidy bit of business in pick No. 131, where Rod Moore graded well above the range. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick143 Rnd5 DJ Campbell
DJ Campbell at No. 143 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick170 Rnd5 Trey Zuhn III
Trey Zuhn III at the 170th overall pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick172 Rnd5 Princewill Umanmielen
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Princewill Umanmielen well ahead of where he belonged. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick175 Rnd5 Kelby Collins
Kelby Collins at the 175th pick is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick244 Rnd7 Riley Williams
By-the-book stuff, Riley Williams at the 244th overall pick squarely in line with his ranking. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick246 Rnd7 Dylan Edwards
Dylan Edwards at the Round 7 slot is a conviction pick that outran the value. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
