Draft Grade — Jets
Overall B-
ValueB NeedB TradesC- FutureB
A solid, sensible weekend for the Jets: B-.

The one they had to fix is still broken. The Jets left quarterback untouched, and that omission hangs over an otherwise reasonable haul. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

However the rest shakes out, Grant at that price is a win they earned. Davis has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.

Pick Analysis
Pick17 Rnd1 Emeka Egbuka
In Round 1, Pick 17 they get a true top target at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick42 Rnd2 Tyler Booker
Tyler Booker slipping to the 42nd overall pick is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick48 Rnd2 Kenneth Grant
They let Kenneth Grant come to them and pounced at slot 48. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick74 Rnd3 Shilo Sanders
No drama and no debate, Shilo Sanders went about where he belonged in the 74th pick. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick81 Rnd3 Jake Briningstool
A tidy little value on Jake Briningstool in the Round 3 slot, a step better than break-even. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick106 Rnd4 Wyatt Milum
They paid sticker price for Wyatt Milum in No. 106, and that is fine. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick110 Rnd4 Collin Oliver
Collin Oliver in pick 110 is fair value, right on his grade. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick142 Rnd5 Jasheen Davis
Jasheen Davis at pick No. 142 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick170 Rnd6 Justin Walley
Justin Walley in Round 6, Pick 10 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick224 Rnd7 Korey Foreman
They did well to land Korey Foreman in slot 224, just ahead of his grade. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
