Draft Grade — Bears
Overall A-
ValueB NeedB TradesA+ FutureA
Nobody dealt better than the Bears this weekend: A-.

Whoever sat across the table from the Bears should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A-.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. Adding Kendall Fuller by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In the end it comes back to Marvin Harrison Jr., and a haul good enough to build on right away.

Pick Analysis
Pick1 Rnd1 Marvin Harrison Jr.
In the Round 1 slot they get a go-to option on the outside. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick7 Rnd1 Olumuyiwa Fashanu
In the 7th overall pick they get a long-term starter on the line at fair value. A real need, handled.
Pick68 Rnd3 Princely Umanmielen
A straight-up fair deal on Princely Umanmielen at Round 3, Pick 4, value and slot in agreement. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
