The Commanders cashed the board's mistake on Echoles: B.

Call it larceny. Will Echoles sat on the board until pick 63, and the Commanders did not need to be asked twice.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

The back end got a real overhaul.

Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
