FOXY KNOXY DRAFTING FOR THESeahawks

Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall

FutureB-
The steal of the weekend belongs to the Seahawks and Taaffe: B-. This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Michael Taaffe, the No. 68 name on the board, stolen at Round 3, Pick 26.
The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Carter Jr. pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.
Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Pick Analysis
Pick26
Rnd1
Christen Miller
In Round 1, Pick 26 they get a disruptive interior force. A real need, handled.
Pick57
Rnd2
Jake Slaughter
Jake Slaughter in the 57th overall pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick90
Rnd3
Michael Taaffe
They robbed the room for Michael Taaffe here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick125
Rnd4
Terrance Carter Jr.
They reached a country mile for Terrance Carter Jr. at the 125th pick, and the board is aghast. It fills a real need, too.
Pick166
Rnd5
Aaron Anderson
Aaron Anderson at No. 166 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick186
Rnd6
Josh Moten
A reach for Josh Moten in pick 186; a little patience would have been rewarded. A minor itch, scratched.
