The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Michael Penix Jr., and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The Coleman pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. The veteran additions, Tee Higgins chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
