After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Commanders committed. Jayden Daniels is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

The cost of the Anderson reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong.

They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it. The Jones pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
