The Mikail Kamara selection is the head-turner. The Commanders reached 25 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. That Reese pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
