A respectable, level-headed haul for the Commanders: B.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Commanders took Mikail Kamara a full 25 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend.

On value alone, Reese makes the weekend a net positive. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
