The Commanders let Walker fall and pounced. Final grade: A-. Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Devontez Walker got past him. The Commanders do not have to explain a thing at pick No. 185. The board rewarded a patient, disciplined weekend with a A-.
The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They are betting Restrepo proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.
The Commanders paired the rookies with proven help, Germaine Pratt leading the way.
