The Commanders got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the C.

Somebody took the Commanders to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it.

The Thompson pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. Coogan has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Commanders clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

It nets out as a middle-of-the-pack haul that neither helps nor hurts much.
