The tape said wait; the Jets did not. Jackson Hawes went at No. 207, a good 49 picks before the board was ready.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. On value alone, Winston Jr. makes the weekend a net positive. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
