Irving should have been long gone. The 49ers pounced, and earned a B-.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The 49ers watched Bucky Irving slide 27 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. The Singer pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. They trusted the board more than the depth chart.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
