The Chargers treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending pick 55 on Steven Parker a full 317 spots early.

However the rest shakes out, Wilson at that price is a win they earned. Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

So much rides on Abdul Carter that the real verdict is a season or two away.
