Start where it matters. The Giants took Cam Ward to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

The cost of the Diggs reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped safety, which is a strange place to end up.

Getting Carter where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
