The Dolphins overdrafted Canady and paid the price. Grade: F.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Dolphins reached some 69 spots for Jadon Canady, and value like that does not grow back. Little went right, and the F does not pretend otherwise.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Masses pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots still on the board.

On value alone, McNeil-Warren makes the weekend a net positive.

There is no soft landing here: they fought the board and left quarterback open, and the grade is the bill.
