The Panthers went off the board in a big way for Ethan Downs, 119 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

They banked enough surplus on Farmer to cover a lot of smaller sins. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through linebacker. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but linebacker.
