Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall

FutureB-
A weekend the Ravens spent fighting the board, and losing. F. The Ravens clearly saw something nobody else did in Jahfari Harvey, taking him 251 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. The warnings were there, and the F is the bill.
They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. That offensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Moore at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
In the end, a class that has to defy its grades just to matter.
Pick Analysis
Pick27
Rnd1
Omarion Hampton
Omarion Hampton at the 27th overall pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick59
Rnd2
Jalen Milroe
A real head-scratcher, Jalen Milroe in Round 2, Pick 27 is miles ahead of his ranking. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick91
Rnd3
Oluwafemi Oladejo
Oluwafemi Oladejo at No. 91 is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick129
Rnd4
Malachi Moore
Malachi Moore in the Round 4 slot is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick136
Rnd4
Quincy Riley
They reached a country mile for Quincy Riley at pick No. 136, and the board is aghast. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick176
Rnd5
Kyren Lacy
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Kyren Lacy well ahead of where he belonged. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick183
Rnd6
Jahvaree Ritzie
They left a pile of value on the table to take Jahvaree Ritzie this early at Round 6, Pick 7. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick203
Rnd6
Barryn Sorrell
This one needs a full-page explanation: Barryn Sorrell in the Round 6 slot, miles early. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick210
Rnd6
Stone Handy
A wild overpay on Stone Handy in pick 210, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick212
Rnd6
Jahfari Harvey
Value said wait; Jahfari Harvey in slot 212 says they were not listening. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick243
Rnd7
Phillip Webb
Phillip Webb at the 243rd pick is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. The roster fit checks out.
