The Dolphins bet the future on Ward. The board says D+. The Dolphins went off the board in a big way for Francisco Mauigoa, 43 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.
They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. Whatever Cam Ward becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer.
However the rest shakes out, Tuten at that price is a win they earned. The Moore pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots still on the board.
The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
