A sensible, unshowy class lands the Cowboys a B-.

The Cowboys spent real capital to be 42 picks early on Kalil Alexander, and the board is going to hold them to it.

The Bisontis steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The Overton pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at cornerback, quarterback and other spots.

Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
