The Fernando Carmona selection is the head-turner. The Packers reached 29 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

They banked enough surplus on Lee III to cover a lot of smaller sins. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
