More right than wrong for the Vikings, and a B to prove it.

You can draft well and still miss the point. The Vikings did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to quarterback, which was the need that mattered most. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

The Giddens pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made. The back end got a real overhaul.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
