Everything else got attention, and quarterback got none. That is a strange way for the Cardinals to leave a draft.

Price at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.

No drama and no debate, C.J. Fite went about where he belonged in No. 105. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.

Jadarian Price slid further than he should have, and the 148th overall pick is lovely value for the running back. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.

DJ Campbell in pick 186 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.

Good price on Jaren Kanak in the 221st pick, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
