Larceny in the 61st overall pick lands the Vikings a D-, Thieneman and all. Somebody took the Vikings to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it.
The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The cost of the Chambliss reach is exactly the players who went right after him.
Getting Thieneman where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and edge rusher is still a hole.
