A solid, sensible weekend for the Vikings: B. The Vikings spent real capital to be 28 picks early on Trey Wedig, and the board is going to hold them to it. More right than wrong, and a B to match.
They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it. The Jones pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.
They gave back a little on the phones for the right to move. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.
