There is conviction, and then there is this. The Vikings took Sam Hartman a full 82 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. No fireworks, but a solid B.

Whatever Drake Maye becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

The Green steal is the beam this whole class leans on. A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
