The Joe Milton III pick is the one that will follow the Giants into the fall. They took him 59 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

For all the activity, safety went untouched, which is hard to explain. That James pick is the receipt they will wave around later. The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the safety spot they never got to.
