The steal of the weekend belongs to the Chargers and Mensah: D+. The Chargers did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Darian Mensah fell into the Round 7 slot. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D+ is the result.
The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. The Chargers clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
