The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Chargers reached some 108 spots for Barryn Sorrell, and value like that does not grow back.

Landing Bassa that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Bottom line, they left the weekend a clearly better team, and they earned every bit of it.
