A franchise passer in Ward headlines a B- weekend for the Giants.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Giants did exactly that with Thor Griffith in the Round 7 slot. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

Cam Ward is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Henderson falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

On the needs board they went 6 of 9, with interior defensive lineman the one that mattered most.
