Nobody else had Gino Garcia anywhere near slot 232. The 49ers did, by 45 spots, and that gap is the whole story. The math is unkind, and the D follows.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

On value alone, Tuten makes the weekend a net positive. On the needs board they went 7 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most.
