The Patriots spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Justin Scott, the No. 20 name on the board, in the 125th overall pick. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

Every board in the league had Brown lower, and that gap is the story. The offensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Good work on the whole, with offensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
