You could see the war room lean forward. Marcellas Dial at pick 245 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. No fireworks, but a solid B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. Job largely done: running back settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
