The Texans cashed the board's mistake on Gabriel: B.

When a board-topper like Dillon Gabriel slides to slot 120, you do not overthink it, and the Texans did not. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Every board in the league had Gadsden II lower, and that gap is the story.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
