The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Texans watched Donovan Jackson slide 37 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain. Ferguson has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Running back is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
