Best value of the weekend goes to the Texans for Leonard: B-.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Riley Leonard got past him. The Texans do not have to explain a thing at Round 4, Pick 24. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up. The cost of the Fleming reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.
