Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Phil Mafah got past him. The Texans do not have to explain a thing at slot 241. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with running back chief among the fixes.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
