Somebody in pick No. 242 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Bears sat still while Ryan Fitzgerald, the No. 117 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. More right than wrong, and a B+ to match.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Mazi Smith gives the group a proven body among the projects.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
